Season programme 2023

Saisonprogramm 2023
After a very successful 2022 season, we are delighted to announce the 2023 season programme!

In addition to many well-known events, such as the Ski Weekend, the Tiger & Rabbit and the Night Golfing, we are extremely pleased to be hosting two different social viewings, for the Players Championship in March and of course the Ryder Cup in October!

In April, the season kicks off with our second handicap-relevant tournament, the Season Opening 2023, closely followed by the start of our Season Matchplay. At the same time, we hope for a lively participation in our bi-weekly trainings and in the summer at the After-Study Cups.

We also hope to win the "LZ Cup" against the Lausanne universities in May this year and to reclaim our title in the classic Ryder Cup against the HSG in the autumn!

Before the start of the autumn semester, we will also embark on a 3-day golf trip to Italy!

While the golf season comes to an end in October with our second Season End Scramble, we are also looking forward again to the General Assembly on 18.11. and the off-season Fondue Plausch in December.

Many of the dates have already been set, so mark your calendars and check out https://gcuzhethz.ch/events for the latest information! https://gcuzhethz.ch/events für die neuesten Informationen vorbei!

Season review 2022

As in the previous year, we were again able to hold numerous events in 2022. Besides the regular training from March to October, the season highlights included our Ski Weekend, the Night golfing and the Tiger & Rabbit Tournament. Furthermore, we were able to hold our first handicap effective tournament in April together with Migros Golfcard.

In July, we also held our first Team Cup against the universities from Lausanne (EPFL, UniL and EHL), where we came 2nd (UZH) and 3rd (ETHZ). In autumn we also played our traditional Ryder Cup against HSG, where we were narrowly defeated after 4 titles in a row.

We look forward to offering many more events next year and wish you a Happy New Year.

Season Opening 2022: First handicap effective tournament

On 29 April, together with Migros GolfCard, we hosted a handicap effective tournament for the first time. In the best weather, Pier Giuseppe (gross), Moritz (1st net), Rafael (2nd net) and Timothy (3rd net) were able to prevail in the end among the 36 participants. Afterwards, there was a joint dinner and the prize-giving ceremony - also supported by Migros GolfCard.

We are pleased to continue our cooperation with the Migros GolfCard - all information about the GolfCard itself can be found here: https://www.golfparks.ch/de/ASGGolfcardMigros/Mitgliedschaft/anmeldung.
