Season Matchplay

This year's Season Matchplay starts in mid-May. The format after the first round is 1 vs. 1 net matchplay. (Previously 3 matchplays due to the high number of participants of 24.) 4 rounds will be played in a knockout format.

Where and when the respective matchplays are played is up to the players themselves (a time window of approx. one month is planned for each round). As usual, the winner is guaranteed a place in the Ryder Cup team against the HSG.⛳️☀️🏆

Masters- Social Viewing

MASTERS Social Viewing
We organize a social viewing for the final day of the Masters tournament at Augusta at the Kennedy’s Irish Pub (Freischützgasse 14, 8004 Zürich). We meet on April 14th from 7:30pm, watch the game from 8-11pm and the club will cover a part of the food. There are only 25 spots available, so register early - first come, first serve! We are looking forward to a fun evening with you! ⛳

LZ Cup 2024

We are pleased to announce the third edition of the team competition against the colleges from Lausanne (LZ Cup) on 27 and 28 April. The tournament will take place over the weekend at the Golf du Val de Sorne in France. The tournament will be played in 3 teams (ETHZ & UZH, EHL, EPFL & UNIL) as a Greensome-Matchplay.

As usual for all team competitions of our club, the Captains Pick applies to the LZ Cup - we will select the most active and strongest playing members from all entries. The team will be announced at the beginning of April.

Registration Period: 17.03 - 31.03.

Please also write your home club and current handicap in the comments.
Costs: The greenfees (2 x 42 EUR) and the overnight stay in Lons-le-Saunier (ca. 47 EUR).

Social viewing: The Players Championship

In March, the best players in the world play in the "fifth major", the Players Championship.
The UZH & ETHZ Golf Club is hosting a social viewing event on the last day of the tournament, Sunday March 12.
From 18:30 we will be at "The Grain" in Zurich and have dinner together - there are only 25 spots, first come first served.

We will have chicken or a vegan burger with fries.
Please indicate in your registration if you would like the vegetarian option and if you have any allergies.

Cost: 50% of the meal (12.50CHF) and all drinks must be paid for at the restaurant.
Registration period: 12.02.-26.02.
Cancellations must be submitted by email by the registration deadline.
